Y7 trip to Tonbridge Art Gallery

Toy cars. Vintage film projectors. Wooden masks from Mexico and Africa… What do people collect, and why do they do it? Year 7 visited the Old Big School Gallery at Tonbridge School and toured a fascinating exhibition entitled “Recollection: Private Collections; from Pencils to Picasso,” which explores the different ways that objects can hold meaning for people.
