RHPA news

We are very excited to announce our plans for the summer term!
The Summer Fair - 25 June 2016
Alongside all the traditional fun of the Summer Fair, this year we are also hosting Circus Sensible. They will be bringing their baby big top to Rose Hill and will be performing two mad-cap circus shows at the fair, as well as running some circus skills workshops. You can all try your hand at juggling and plate spinning! Tickets for the shows will go on sale around Easter time.
The Summer Ball - 16 July 2016
We are delighted to welcome Michelin star winning chef Daniel Hatton, formerly of Thackeray's, to the ball this year and he will be providing us with a very special 3 course meal. Circus Brighton will be joining the fun and entertaining us with a spectacular fire and glow show in-keeping with our circus theme. After this year, the Summer Ball will become a biennial event ‐ so grab those tickets as you won't have another chance until 2018!
Tickets for the ball are £75 each and go on sale today! Get your tables of 8 organised over half term, or why not try a lucky dip table if you don't have quite enough for a table of 8? You will find the booking form at the end of this week's newsletter.
Wishing you all a fun and relaxing half term.

Year 6 Geography trip to the River Cuckmere and Seven Sisters Country Park.

12 March 2020

Whilst the heavy rain did make the trip via Alfriston village a little tricky it also served to highlight the spectacular meanders and creeks of the River Cuckmere’s floodplain in the Spring sunshine and allow the ‘New Cut’ to be in full spate and speed along to the sea at low tide. As it did so the fast-flowing water actively undercut and eroded the shingle beach causing mini land or ‘shingle’ slides before our very eyes.
