Head of Geography

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational individual to lead our Geography Department and deliver a curriculum that is exciting, innovative and diverse.  Our mission is to inspire each child with a love of learning and to prepare them for a fulfilling future.     
 
The successful candidate will ensure that the provision of Geography across the School is outstanding and everybody is engaged positively in learning and the standards of progress are excellent.  The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a sound knowledge of the complexities of teaching, learning and curriculum development with particular regard for Key Stage 2 and 3, including Common Entrance requirements.  We are looking to introduce ECO School and Fairtrade as part of the development of the School, making this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, talented and motivational geography teacher looking to further develop their career.

Gap Student

Start date: September 2020
 
Rose Hill School employ Gap Students every year who make a valuable contribution to many activities throughout the year.  We are looking for reliable and flexible candidates to support activities and games.
 
The basic hours are 37.25 per week with occasional weekend/evening help for matches and other school events.  General duties include administrative help, plus more specifically helping with pupils in classrooms and on the games fields (or coaching if qualified).
 
Spend a year between A levels and college or post grad working in a busy, friendly Independent Day Prep School.
 
Closing date: 26 February 2020. Interviews to be held on 16 March.
