IAPS County and National Athletics Championships

Thirty eight children took part at this year’s County Championship, held at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford. 20 of our athletes managed to beat their previous personal best during the championship and congratulations to our 8 County Medal winners.
Bronze: G. Kendon (U12 100m), O. Welbourn (U14 1500m), C. Crooke (U13 Javelin)
Silver: F. White (U12 High Jump), O. Phillips (U14 200m), G. Kendon (U12 L. Jump)
Gold: O. Phillips (U14 L. Jump), L. Tipper (U14 Javelin)
Three pupils (O Phillips, L Tipper and G Kendon) will go on to represent Kent at the IAPS National Finals at the Alexander stadium in Birmingham on Wednesday 2nd July.

When we found out this year's Junior Production was 'Mary Poppins', we felt excited about what part we would get and how rehearsals would go. Rehearsals started straight away and we realised it wasn't going to be as easy as we thought! It was going to be tough and we would need to work very hard!

Year 7 art trip to the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne

On Thursday, 9 November Year 7 went on an Art trip to the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne. After a bus journey to Eastbourne College we had a delicious lunch in their canteen. We then walked a short distance to the Towner Gallery which is located right next to the College. It wasn’t hard to miss as there was an amazing mural painted on the side of the building, in all sorts of shapes and colours, celebrating the Towner’s 10th Anniversary.

Rose Hill School Sports Tour to Holland

During the half-term break 45 Rose Hill School pupils and staff travelled to Eindhoven in Holland as part of the school’s Sports tour. During the trip the boys were lucky enough to train with Dutch Giants PSV Eindhoven, whilst the girls trained with the Dutch National Hockey Champions Oranje-Rood.

Year 7 trip to Canterbury Cathedral
